Community Showcase is designed to give voice to local public service and benefit groups, organizations, schools, teachers, youth sports, non profits, museums and more a place on our platform to get out the word about their doings, programs, news updates, events, etc.
The service is free and we ask only that:
Your content be written, photographed, videoed etc. specifically for ANN’s Community Showcase and that it is not simply a reprint of a newsletter, press release, promo piece or just a copy of what you have on your webpage.
Please provide content that is original and unique for ANN.
You may base your Community Showase material on content you already have however. We just want it to be written more in a news or feature style regarding program, accomplishments, past or upcoming events etc.
Please see the Alameda Boys and Girls Club posting as an example.
We prefer original photos, videos or other images that do not replicate what you may have posted elsewhere.
Length is up to you.
We also ask, to keep your spot on Community Showcase, that you update your material at least TWO times per month.
Community Showcase is not designed for promotional purposes or advertising by private enterprise or individuals per se.
If you have something you think newsworthy, please contact ANN and fill out the ‘STORY IDEA’ FORM
Fundraisers that benefit the community or some worthy cause by private entities or persons may qualify.
Lastly, we are not simply a web link aggregator/provider, though we encourage you to provide a link to your site following your content post.
